The two main ways to get one element from one image to another are:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; copy and paste using the pull down menu and clicking Edit &gt; Copy then clicking on the target image Edit &gt; Paste &gt; Paste as a new layer<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; using shortcuts: Ctrl-C (for copy), click the target image Ctrl-L (for paste as new layer)<\/p>\n<p>But there is a way to drag and drop and that is from the Layer Palette instead of the images themselves. This tip is a big time saver if you want to create a title or a text, as long as you start with a LAYERED file.
